Your donations will go to the Oxford Myeloma Charity (OxMyC). Myeloma is a rare form of cancer affecting the plasma cells which are responsible for making antibodies. It is considered treatable but not curable at present but is often diagnosed late. Robin was diagnosed with myeloma in the summer of 2020 and was treated by Dr Karthik Ramasamy in Oxford. Despite his age the chemotherapy was successful in keeping the myeloma controlled and the two enjoyed chatting about cricket ! We would very much like to support Dr Ramasamy’s research into earlier diagnosis and better treatment of myeloma.
